After School Football Coach

We are increasing the number of DJ After School Clubs we offer and are looking for enthusiastic DJs to come on board.
Purpose of Job
To ensure the delivery of high quality teaching and coaching sessions. Our company is reliant on its excellent reputation for reliability and high quality. Every staff member must be its guardian and work to achieve enhancing our image in the eyes of the customer.
Key Tasks

To be aware of the key factors influencing the session (National Curriculum, client/contract specifications, established good practice)

Leading and delivering high quality sessions as required.

To follow current good practice with regard to health and safety - risk assessment etc.

To maintain good practice regarding all aspects of child protection including updated safeguarding certification.

To gather, prepare and maintain the resources required to deliver the sessions in an effective way.

To maintain written records and registers as required.

To wear the correct clean, tidy uniform and identification at all times when teaching/coaching.

To be available to discuss the sessions etc as required with parents, teachers, school heads and others.

To meet the requirements of the Code of Practice for Sports Coaches https://www.sportscoachuk.org/sites/default/files/Code-of-practice-for-sports-coaches.pdf

To represent Wrights Academy in a professional manner at all times whilst working or on site.
Location
This role will be based in the lambeth borough.
Person Spec

Coaching certificate
-
Previous experience working with children
-
The ability to effectively run a sports session

The knowledge of managing challenging behaviours
-
You will have to clear an enhanced DBS
